FIRE

On Friday August 1st a fire started on the mountain south of Payson. The wind picked up and helped the fire grow quickly. It reached the mountains right above our house. At around 9pm we were told to evacuate and we only had five min to get our stuff and leave. Of course I missed out on all the excitement being at work, So Cody had quit the experience. He was at home with the three kids. They were so scared Cody said they wouldn't stop crying. He had to hurry and grab as much stuff for all of us that he could in the little time they allowed. But in all the excitement he managed to get his golf clubs. He claims they were in the explorer already, but we know the truth j/k.. We found our self homeless for the night. Tawyna and Suraj let us come stay with them till we could get back in. Luckily the fire was put out before it reached the homes, and we were able to go back home Saturday afternoon.

Splish Splash!!!

The Kids and I have spent several days at the water park this summer. It is so much fun to play with the kids in the pool. Payson built a new pool this year and it is a blast!! Maybe next summer the boys will be daring enough to go down the big slides.

On a hot early summer day Cody made a large Sip-n-Slide for the kids. It started at the top of the hill in the backyard, and ended on the other end of the yard. It keep them busy for hours. Cody and I even decided to give it a try. But Cody of course decided it was not fast enough. Then he squirted baby oil all over it. It sure helped you go faster. The bad thing is now our grass is dead where ever it touched.

Hogle Zoo

Cody took the Kids to the Zoo for a Birthday Party. It was Trevors eighth Birthday (Codys Nephew). They started out doing some activities and eating Cupcakes and Ice cream. Then they spent the rest of the day exploring the Zoo. I wish I could have went but of course I was stuck at work due to inventory. Cody is so sweet to take them so they wouldn't miss out. I couldn't have found a better guy, he is the greatest step dad ever!!!

Memoriad Day

We started out our memorial day trip by stopping in Kanab to see Dads new headstone. Mom did a great job picking it out. After the cemetery we went to lunch then headed up the to the Grand Canyon.
